Warren Ashbridge
I spent my working life on the operations side of retail banking, latterly in Interac e-Transfer operations at a credit union, which mostly meant answering the question "why did my transfer fail" several hundred times a year. The answer was almost never the one the member arrived with. The transfer had not failed. It had met a limit nobody had read.
What I cover here
I write about the part of an online casino deposit that happens inside your own bank: per-transaction, rolling 24 hour and rolling 30 day send ceilings and how they stack, how limit tiers move with account type and verification status, what Autodeposit does and does not change, and the difference between a decline, a hold and a recall. Those four things account for most of what people mistake for a broken cashier.
What I do not cover
I do not benchmark payout speed and I do not publish per-casino limit or fee tables. Interac sets neither limits nor fees, and a table of them by casino is describing the wrong institution. I also do not argue about RTP, which is somebody else's specialism and not mine.
How I work
I read the account agreement rather than the help centre, because the help centre gives you the headline figure and the agreement gives you the tier that applies to your account. I quote what an operator publishes, in the currency it publishes it in, with the date I captured it. Where I could not verify something I say so on the page rather than filling the gap, which is why one brand on our list carries no bonus figure at all.
